We <br />are concerned that many of these representatives did not have adequate response time and thus <br />were unable to attend. In consequence, we are rescheduling the meeting to Monday July 7th. We <br />hope that more groups will be able to attend. <br /> <br />In March 2008, The City of Surrey invited Berris and Associates to provide landscape <br />architectural consulting and design services for the development of Wickson Point in Blackie <br />Spit Park. Detailed programming and design for this area of the park needs to commence <br />beyond that provided in the earlier Blackie Spit Park Master Plan of 1999. <br /> <br />We are seeking community input on the vision for Wickson Point. The vision will aid in <br />directing the design of the area including environmental considerations, park user circulation, <br />passive recreation options and street frontage along Wickson Road. <br /> <br />For this initial stakeholder meeting, we are inviting representatives from the Crescent Beach <br />Residents Association, the Blackie Spit Preservation Society, the Crescent Beach Swimming <br />Club, the Crescent Beach Dog Owners Association and the Surrey Sailing Club.
